Moving or Changing Your Service

  • When moving to a new location or leaving the area, it’s essential to contact the District before the scheduled date.
  • The meter at your location will be read or disconnected by the Serviceman during PUD business hours. You can choose a date that suits you best.

Account Updates & Disconnection Policy

  • Ensure that you update your forwarding address and phone number with the District to maintain communication.
  • If there is a credit left on your account, it will be sent to you in the form of a check.
  • Accounts that are disconnected by the PUD and then reconnected under the former account name will incur a seasonal reconnect fee.
  • Services disconnected for over one year are considered new services. They will need to meet the current District standards at the time of reconnect, and new service fees will apply.
  • Consider this policy when deciding whether to leave a service disconnected for an extended period.
