PUD No. 2 is a Slice/Block customer of Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
Meters are owned by the District, however the meter base is the customer or homeowner's responsibility to maintain. If a meter base is found to have damage of any kind it will need replaced. A minimum fee of $165 will be charged to customers found tampering with their meter.
The District reads its electric meters both manually (read by District personnel) and automatically. By District policy a customer has the right to decline use (opt-out) of an automatic meter on their premise. Click here to view the Automatic Meter Technology Opt-Out Form.
